Pacific Poker has been on of the leading casino on the internet for many years. The Pacific Poker room is dedicated to providing a great gaming experience to people who enjoy playing the games; they do this by providing a safe, regulated, secure, and fair gaming environment. Since the launch of this online casino in 1997, they have provided a quality service to more than 25 million gaming enthusiasts all over the world. In addition they have also taken the prospect of keeping financial transactions made by their members safe and private by using Intersafe Global, a leading processor who uses top of the line encryption technology to ensure customer information is protected on the internet.

Getting started at Pacific Poker is as easy as downloading and installing their free software, which only requires you to click on the free download button and follow the directions given in the prompts that will follow, taking you through the installation process. Once you have downloaded the software, you will need to register. You can do this by clicking on the Log-in button found in the lobby of the software, then clicking on the “New Player’ section to register. The software has many impressive features that will make navigating the program very easy and the graphics make your game play a very realistic experience. Should downloading the software not appeal to you or you want to be mobile and play the games, Pacific Poker offers its membership the option of “Quick Play, No Download”, which allows you to play anywhere at any time.

After you have registered, you are ready to play. Pacific Poker offers players Poker game variations such as Texas Hold’Em, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Omaha Hi, and Omaha Hi/Lo. The games are offered in both No Limit and Pot Limit Games and each table carries its own denomination. Players can play the Ring games i.e. games played with real chips. These are different from the chips used in tournaments which have no monetary value outside of the table. Pacific Poker offers players the ring games in Texas Hold’Em, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Lo.

In addition to these games, Pacific Poker also offers two types of tournament games: Sit & Go and Multi Hand tournaments. In Sit & Go tournaments, up to 50 players may sit down at a table and have a quick tournament. There is no specified time for the Sit & Go tournaments. When the required amount of players has entered the tournament, the games will start. With the Multi Hand tournaments, the games will start at scheduled times with however many players that are registered up to the maximum amount. Each player in the Multi Hand tournaments will have paid the buy-in fee and will receive the amount of tournament chips they need to play. Each player starts with an equal amount and plays until they have eliminated each of the other players.

Pacific poker has a variety of tables for its members to choose from that have very different betting limits. Players can choose which limit they prefer to play at. The limits are shown by their lower limit or minimum bet and their higher limit or maximum bet. When choosing a betting limit you will notice that certain games follow an ante table; the table will give you information such as your table limit, your ante amount and your bring-in amount. The ante is the amount needed to play in a hand and the bring-in amount is where the lowest hand player is forced to make the starting bet. Pacific Poker also applies their commission to each of the pots; this is called a rake. There are rake structures for the Fixed Limit, the No Limit and the Pot Limit Games.

In order for a player to play the money games, they must first make a deposit, which can be made through the main poker lobby cashier button. For deposits, Pacific Poker accepts credit cards and debit cards in the player’s currency. However, the deposit amount is converted into USD (United States Dollars). In addition to credit and debit cards, Pacific Poker accepts deposits from Bank Accounts and prepaid cards as well as from eWallet accounts which include ClickandBuy, ActeCash, MoneyBookers, NETeller, iDeal…

Making a deposit at Pacific Poker also allows you to take advantage of the many promotions and bonuses available: for example, a welcome bonus of 25% of your deposit that you get instantly before you play the games. Then you get an additional 75% soon after. You can also take part in the $1000 depositor’s free roll for making a deposit. You get a bonus for inviting your friends: for each person you invite you will receive $50. You will receive frequent player points for playing the games that can be redeemed for cash. With all of the perks you get with Pacific Poker, you will keep coming back to play at this casino’s tables.
